Actually, I rotate them for local rides. On longer rides, it depends on the nature of the ride. The 97 Standard I take if the ride will be lots of motorways. The 02 ABSII I keep radials on for short local rides. The 97 ABSII I keep higher mileage tires for rides that will involve good roads and some motorways. The new one I haven't decided yet. ;-)
