2017 Border Ride - Border Villiage - Saturday 5th August

Bother Heather and I have decided to do this years Border ride. I have booked the accommodation and registered for the ride

We're repeating our 2015 effort as far as ride plan goes:-

Leave home Midday Friday 4th August and spend the first of two nights at Ceduna in a caravan park; 597 km for the day.

We stay here because it's cheap @ $70 a night we get a motel style unit http://www.cedunaholidayaccommodation.com.au/

The next morning we're up bright and early so we can make the SA/WA border by midday on Saturday 5th; 481 km

We're doing this as another FarRide (http://farriders.com.au/index.php ) which for us will be at least 1000km or more within 24 hours and the distance we'll do is 1078 km.

At around 3 pm we'll ride back to Ceduna for the night which gives us a 962 km total distance for the day and head back home on the Sunday morning.

Some of the guys in our club that live in Western Australia also will be attending so we double it up and make it an Ozstoc meet as well though the ride is actually organised by the BMW club which I just found out.

Interesting. Hope Heather feels better now.
Image Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. (Don't forget to vote! Not that it matters...)

Getting better slowly and still painful - I don't how she fell but her LH shoulder impacted the ground first. She needs to exercise the arm or the shoulder could freeze.
