Id does look a tad dull...what do you guys say?
More yellow, add some (none reflective) red, some 'sponsor stickers'...

Well it certainly could do with better lighting when photographed...

Former police / security bike? Pic is sort of dark... Appears to have black fender, shelter and side covers with white bags and fairings?

Just my opinion, but take off the yellow reflective tape. It clashes with the white and black combo. Silver, grey or white, reflective tape (or non) whould be a better fit visually. How about some Euro style silver reflective pinstripes where the yellow currently is?

David. That has been done on ST Owners and looks awesome. Martin, the bike looks good. It would be nice to see some photos in daylight (with the rider suitably attired). Our works 1100 had thicker yellow stripes, with a thin blue margin, set higher up on the fairing. Will try and find a photo for reference. Cheers

With the current 'white background' you'll only see the black bits then

With the nuke-yellow jacket... will probably melt the CMOS... ;)

I can always add more yellow... but reflective-blue, reflective-red and reflective-white on the sides is a no-go... kinda unlawful, and the rig is already quite borderline... no need to 'provoke' them any further as their already are in view of as it is now 8-)

I agree that the bike looks good as is. It also seems legal to me. The yellow and stock lights add enough colour.
It can be seen reasonably well at night because of the white and yellow parts. (Adding red will not improve on that, unless the red is reflective.)
As you know, red reflective belongs in the rear; white or silver relective belongs in the front. (I think orange and yellow are all right on the sides.)
And I prefer the simplicity of it, as compared to Julien's masterpiece (see photo in post just above).
Just my pence's worth. (If you are trying to imitate a police model, my comments are to be ignored.)
'Tis not its looks, but how it cooks.
And I've found that most liter size Pans, when warmed up, cook well.

LOL! Is that still the same bike I remember from the Gathering in Evora?? 8-)

David W wrote:I agree that the bike looks good as is. It also seems legal to me.

I did intend to keep a low & 'legal' profile, in which having amber strobe sets is already at the edge... (as long as their not in operated while in motion I won't get 'nailed', whilst securing a scene while stationary presents offence at all...)
And I think that large blue/yellow Gathering stickers (which is why I kept the upper part of the pannier lids free) will 'complete' it later on.
The rear section does have the known yellow/red chevrons applied, which is also no violation of local codes.

But I am considering adding another reflective yellow line on the upper fairing, along the indented section underneath the rear-views, just to break up that monolithic white there...
And possible the Austrian insignia on the flat sections, forward of the access covers (have the same on my 'civil' '00 ST, much appreciated by customs officers when crossing borders... one look, a nod and I just get waved through...)

And no, I'd never intended to mimic a LEO vehicle (neither local nor foreign), its supposed to serve as 'marshal-bike' and 'first responder' during Gatherings and related events...
