I would also think that Australian bike was either silver or black originally. I looked up the bike in that ST1100 Registry and have some bits of info about it, and its owner:

Purchased in 2008 by Tony, who has owned at least 12 bikes and ridden over 207,000 kilometers in 40 years of riding. (So the bike was about 18 years old when he bought it.)

He once posted a photo of it on but seems to not be a member there now. His main bike seems to be a Honda Goldwing 1500 cc, and he does his commute on a bike.

(I did not know until now that Aussies got, not only '93/code P and '95/code S models, but also '94/code R.)
