Police bike crash test (Dutch)

Postby Pieter Huizinga » 19 Feb 2013, 13:22

Came across this today. If you don't mind the Dutch babbling, it's instructional to see what happens to a bike when it is hit by a car.

Is this the best way to treat a BMW?
I love being right. If only it happened more often...

Not understanding the language i fail to see the point if i was hit by a car i wouldn't be worried about the bike.

I'm missing something or is it just "boys and toys" smashing things up for fun. Poor bikes even if they are Bum Wubble U's.

A useful demonstration of Newton's third law but not sure what it otherwise proves, especially without 'riders'....
