...It are less the exchange rates, more the expected punitive duties...

Depends if you can wait a couple of year when the UK is out properly ... then companies like DS can buy their parts from wherever they like instead of having to source them within the EU ... should make them a lot cheaper ... just look at the price of an alternator in the EU compared to the same one in the USA.

Currently their targeting 2019... till then its havoc...

And yes, if I would order one of those bargain alternators (or any spares for that matter) from the US, named punitive duties would cost me an arm and a leg...

That EC is a corporate/finance controlled dictatorship... the question is where this influence truly origins??
