I have the following

Adobe Photoshop Elements 9
And
Adobe Premiere Elements 9

I assume I am better off staying with that?

Not sure if that would work with either of the Win 7 (32 & 64 bit) versions but we have a free photo program which does more than what I do anyway.

We have PhotoScape from http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/index.php

Almost anything works with Win7... I'm even able to run (some) proggies from DOS/Win3.1 and Win95 period on Win7pro_64 ;-)

Andi's hint did cost me my nightrest though, spent till past 0200 there
DSL modem/router started to smell hot... ;-)

Photoshop seems very similar to Gimp...
But what I (again) miss is an easy accessable resize tool as my acient PaintShopPro7 features:
[poperties] - [size] - [keep proportions] - enter Inet friendly 800(x600) or whatever - [safe as] - done! (even a batch converter is avail)
They all have zillions of fancy editing toys in the foreground, but the essential and prior functions for filing and property management of your photo material are always burried sowmehere deep down... hate that...

This is why I still have that old PaintShopPro running, my daily required functions easy accessible right on the top with no BS around...

Thanx to the link I however upgraded my Adobe Acrobat 8 to the professional version, and even got the German setup offered, will toy with the rest later on...
Keep tires down, ATGATT, STOC# 637 (Sept.'97), PanEuro# 42 (Oct.'97), candy glory red '92 (sold), re-furbed '94 (wicked), strawberry '00 (daily)

If you happy with that Peter and it does all you want why change :D
A foot note apparently the links are a foo par on Adobes part [but that still doesnt stop them installing]

On behalf of Adobe Systems Incorporated ...

You have heard wrong! Adobe is absolutely not providing free copies of CS2!

What is true is that Adobe is terminating the activation servers for CS2 and that for existing licensed users of CS2 who need to reinstall their software, copies of CS2 that don't require activation but do require valid serial numbers are available. (Special serial numbers are provided on the page for each product download.) See <http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1114930>.

You are only legally entitled to download and install with that serial number if you have a valid license to the product!
