Carnage from kent, UK

as mentioned in another thread, things have been brought forward, new braided brake and clutch lines now on order along with new rear caliper slide bolts and piston seals all round, all to be replaced along with fresh fluid once I have them all in my grubby hands, also winging its way to me is a new leather seat cover. new front tyre being fitted this morning, alas im a bit sceptical having found mixed emotions regarding the Avon ultra 2's with a few swearing by them and others damning them, but the rear is virtually new so im going to go with it for now considering the issue is only when loosening ones grip on the bars, and if I find its not resolved then its going to be a full on swap for something a little more tried tested and approved.

I was always happy with Avon Storm II Ultras.
I love being right. If only it happened more often...

Criticism seems to depend on where you are most riders in the UK are happy with them as am i :D Mericans and Ozzies not so keen.

Temperatures and road surface in the UK seem to suit the Avon. Or the Avon suits the UK whatever. ;)

Another one with Avon Storm 2 Ultras, Im on about my 3rd set.

My only criticism, if it can be called that, is in the wet I never experience any little slips like I did with other tyres and I find myself building up to going in to bends a bit quicker than I feel comfortable with in the wet.

Just a thought........are the bar end weights still in place?

As yet I haven't had this issue and I still have original as sold on the bike when new, wheel bearings and head stem bearings.

I get this with worn tyres but not new (Dunlop and others fwiw). Head bearings a good shout - time to change for nice tapered roller
