Library & archive access?

Should we make our library and my-mc archive accessible to unregistered guests?

Yes, interested folks should be able to view that content without registering.

Frankly, I don't care, most of it is in the public domain already anyway.

Thanks Forest. Good point, too. I have added that information to the front page, in the subtitle of the Biking forum.

Personally - and this is strictly my own view - I don't want to overcrowd the front page any further, in fact I think it's rather overcrowded already as it is. Obviously YMMV.
Fact is I've been considering an overhaul (as in cleanup) of the front page for some time now.

A possible option would be to add the phpBB Portal page as landing page. But that would require frequent updates to add value, or it just would be another page to click through to the board.

Library access to search engines might result in extra interested (and interesting) visitors to the site, so I think make it publicly viewable. The my-mc content makes this forum extra special.
I love being right. If only it happened more often...
