Sadly I'm banned from all mirrors on the grounds that my wife never wants there to be two of me in any one room. :-)

Know the routine well, spent like 1~2 hours sitting on the couch watching TV with the new lid on to determine and pressure points which would cause very unpleasant pain moments down on the road later on.
Some adjustments with my 'helmet Styrofoam cushion adjuster' (plastic hammer) and a few more 'dry land' fitting sessions I'm totally happy with that lid 8-)

I just went out to try the new helmet and its bloody quiet. I normally ride with earplugs in and even at progressive speeds its very very quiet. The visibility from inside is much better than my old Viper, it all feels much plusher and better fitted all round. In fact, the only downside and I'm really grasping at straws to find something to knock is that with the top vent all the way open it dumps an awful lot of cold air on the top of my head. Mind you It was hovering around freezing when I was out. :-)

Do you have a linky to the helmet you purchased Dave?

Like on the Multitec I find this top vent totally easy to operate and reliable. Easy to grasp with gloves, 3 notches, full forward is closed.
The newly instated additional rear vent of the Neotec is totally amplifying the ventilation, with it open I actually feel drag over face and eyes.
I'd already tested it last fall and its a totally 'cool' helmet in warm weather, but indeed a bit chill once the sun went down

It's almost tempting to ride somewhere really warm, just to test that out. :-))).
