Took Heather to the airport for her flight to Darwin. Took these while there. Used my phone's cam for these except for the one with the bike in. I took some more pics using Heather's phone (S6) as well but they're in Darwin.

Not wanting to get ripped off with airport parking fees I parked the bike in the Ikea (and other stores) parking area for free. The bus into the airport from there cost us $5.20 and after Heather was on the plane I walked back to the bike in 10 or 15 minutes. I ride back down on the 29th, stay overnight and collect Heather at about midday on the 1st.

The pictured plane is one Jetstars A320s the same type Heather flew out on with Qantas trying to steal the spotlight in the background.

Interesting, but why is that airport totally deserted?

Reminds me of the Hurricane evacuated MCO (Orlando), but there also all air-planes had vanished too... ;)

At that time of the night I guess the evening busy period is over plus the airport shuts down overnight for jet aircraft except for emergency landings.
