The friend of a friend of a friend... owns a '92 CB750F2N...

"can you give it a short look-over/small service?"...

The mount is abused, unloved, parked outside 24/7/365... but of course are carbon-look rear-views and really tiny after-market turn-signals of major importance...

Fork-seals gone...
Head bearings disintegrated...
Runs like crap, won't idle... besides gummed up carbs (moved like twice a year...) the rims of the carb-diaphragms suffered frost damage, literally... :?

4x NRP diaphragm: € 400,- (OEM Honda would be € 190,- a pop...)
4x pattern carb seal kit: € 90,-
1x head bearings: € 50,-
2x fork seals: € 70,-
filters, oil, liquids, small parts: € 80,-
labour: tba...

allegedly he's still gasping for air...

I mean what did he expect??!

Reminds me of the 'friends' who'd ask if I could 'take a look at their TV', or, these days, 'take a look at their computer'.

The sublimal message is that it's supposed to be free.
