New luggage rack

Postby Pieter Huizinga » 08 Jun 2015, 12:33

I don't believe I've posted it here already. Considering Karen's new hobby I installed a duo seat, but the side effect was that the luggage rack was gone.
Spent some time looking for a way to carry at least one roll of baggage, and came across this thingie on a web site in the UK:

It fits with the duo seat, and also with the original saddle bags. The back rest that is mounted on the one I received is actually broader, much to the appreciation of Karen.
It looks good (well, it should for that price!) but I haven't had time yet to mount it on the bike - that may turn out to be an opportunity to learn some new words.
Image Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. (Don't forget to vote! Not that it matters...)

LOL! Fancy language echoing out the garage... :D
Ensure to use locking nuts (the ones with the nylon-inlay) or if not avail at least some thread-lock... and have fun wrenching! 8-)
