Odd one Mike. Can't think what would cause that. Maybe make sure both bulbs are in the same way round?
I love being right. If only it happened more often...

Welcome Mike,

Probably both depending on country/regional variation.

A few other words may also apply and be added depending on the outcome before during and after the process.

Thinking of doing this to my 1100 next year. Where did you source the relay from?

Hi Pieter,

The original bulbs & the new LED bulbs are a "Wedge" type fit on my ST1300 year 2011.

I'm not electrically inclined, but I'll try a multimeter when the replacement pair arrive.

Your reply is appreciated.

Regards,

Mike

Really don't think you need brighter tail lights on an 11 as they are more than good enough (unless you fit them as fog lamps), tail lights on a standard 13 is another matter, I've seen brighter lights on a Hillman Imp

A lot of us out here tow trailers, add extra lighting for night riding and not to mention an almost endless list of farkles and added all up takes a toll on the electrical system.

I've swapped all the trailer lights over to LED and as globes fail on the bike rear lights will get done. Indicaters don't need to be done but would be more like icing on the cake.

Whoops, sorry!

Try this one -

http://www.intobikes.co.uk/products/001 ... ch&sd=DESC

and you'll need the WRELED03 LED Indicator Relay - OEM Block Type Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha. If you click on the photo icon you'll get a shot of the item.
