Drain Hole/Route Beneath The ST1300 Alternator

Hi All, Any knowledge on this please? Assuming it exists,how is it accessed / maintained? Thanks.Ed. :?

I wonder if it is the same as the drain for the rest of the "V" valley? If so, there's a little rectangular opening on the left side of the engine right where the front cover mates with the crankcase.

Never heard of any maintenance regarding that. I think it's there as a "tell tale" and to drain off any coolant that might leak from hoses up in the V.
